I graduated with a PhD from the CS department at UIUC, where I was fortunate to be advised by Brighten Godfrey. My thesis looked at fundamental techniques to diagnose failures in networked systems. I am currently a postdoc at Conviva with the inimitable Vyas Sekar, working on real-world applications of failure diagnosis.
I am broadly interested in networked and distributed systems, and also like to think about algorithms.
Projects: Murphy, TraceWeaver, Flock, DRing, Parsort
